Pakistan Remote Sensing Society
The Society to initiate monthly ‘The Hazard Bulletin’ to monitor the region land cover dry and wet conditions using the EOS Remote Sensing Spatial and Temporal Observations over the crop land of Punjab. The Issue will focus on the one-month Drought conditions as well as warm and cold edges (LSTmax & LSTmin) in response to soil-moisture using VTCI approach over the plain of Punjab (Pakistan). “The Hazard” aims to monitor drought, soil moisture in response to the integration of normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and surface temperature (LST) as well as to determine and validate the drought conditions using vegetation temperature condition index (VTCI) drought monitoring approach over the Plain of Punjab Pakistan and Contiguous region of Punjab and to extend the application to the bordered Countries.
