Jahangir Khan, received PhD in Applied Information Technology from Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing for Agri-Hazards of Ministry of Agriculture, Beijing 100083, P R of China, College of Information and Electrical Engineering, China Agricultural University, Beijing 100083, P R of China and worked in the esteemed Lab since 2014. He completed two years Post-Doctorate during Sep 2018-2020 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zoran Bojkovic at Engineering Academy of Serbia IAS, Republic of Serbia, Kneza Miloša 9, Belgrade, Serbia.
Currently, working as an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Computer Sc. & IT, Sarhad University, Peshawar Pakistan. In addition, I also worked as a Research Associate at the Graduate School of Science & Engineering, College of Computing & Information Science, PAF-KIET, from Sep 2005 till Oct 2010. His area of specialization is Satellite remote sensing spatial and temporal observation over the land cover of Punjab (Pakistan) to monitor drought, land surface temperature, soil moisture, flood events as well as to focus on the global warming’s in association with Climate extremes. This will provide a platform for the application of Computing & Information Technology using Satellite data products for the Information Engineering and Monitoring of the Agricultural land cover changes spatially as well as temporally to highlight the Agricultural drought conditions, land surface temperature, flood events and climate changes.
